Help Support John & Jean Little During Liver Transplant Recovery

Hi, we’re Toby and Cindy Prince, and we’ve created this GoFundMe page on behalf of Toby’s mom and stepdad, Jean and John Little.

John and Jean have spent years quietly battling serious medical issues, always with strength and without complaint. Despite their own challenges, they’ve remained the first to step up when others needed help—offering a meal, a ride, a kind word, or a helping hand. They are truly the kind of people who give without expecting anything in return.

Now, it’s our turn to support them.

After months on the liver transplant waiting list, John has received the call—an organ is available. This is a long-awaited blessing and a critical step toward giving John a renewed chance at life.

John will be hospitalized for several weeks following the transplant. After his discharge, he and Jean will need to temporarily relocate to Durham, where he will receive intensive follow-up care and monitoring. Doctors expect they’ll need to stay there for at least a month, possibly longer.

This journey brings with it significant expenses, including:

• Travel and lodging

• Food and daily living costs

• Maintaining two households during recovery

• Ongoing medical bills and related costs
