Hello, my name is John. This is hard for me, but I need help. My story starts the year before Covid when I started my own restaurant consulting business. I took out loans to get started. Of course, Covid hit and ran me right out of business. But being stubborn and having two kids to raise, I held on way too long. By the time I let go of the business I was over $60000 in debt. Shortly after my wife asked for a divorce which just made the hole even bigger. I have been paying it off a little at a time but my time has run out. One of the last debts garnished my wages. I have joint custody of my kids but because of the garnishment I am behind in my rent. I am going to be evicted. That means I lose my custody agreement. I have spent the last several years trying to fix this on my own but I can't. I am asking for enough help to pay my back rent and maybe finish off the debt. I just want to get my life back and give some back to my kids.
