Support John Francis In His Fight Against ALS

Our names are Allie and Frank. We are fundraising for our very good friend John Francis and his family. At the beginning of this year, after two hand surgeries and several tests John was diagnosed with ALS . This horrible disease, with no known cure, causes your family and caregivers to be burdened with the substantial costs of accessibility and care along the way. It is so heartbreaking to watch someone so incredibly loved by so many to go through this disease. It is even more heartbreaking - and yet heartwarming - to see our very good friend, his soulmate Yolanda standing firmly by his side through all of this. Their love for each other is amazing. Our hopes are this fundraiser will allow Yolanda to take some time off of work to spend some quality time with John as well. John is a generous , loving person who has worked very hard his entire life , especially to give his wife of 34 years and his two beautiful children Johnny and Stephanie the best life he could . He drove 3 hours to and from work from Pennsylvania to New Jersey and back for over 30 years to provide for his family . He is also a fighter- and is taking this disease head on. His humour, smiles and laughter are inspirational and help to keep the rest of us going . But he needs our help. The costs of renovating their home to make it wheelchair accessible will be extensive. Asking for help is incredibly hard for John . But because he wants to be able to spend as much time possible with his loved ones, he has allowed us to put together this fundraiser for them.
