Support John Deignan's Fight - Stage 4 Melanoma
Donation protected
We have some sad news to share.

On April 3, my cousin John J. Deignan of Boston, MA was diagnosed with stage 4 Melanoma. He immediately started immunotherapy, but he is not one of the lucky ones, so far, but he has HOPE. The therapy is not currently working, and the cancer is spreading. John was discharged from the hospital last Saturday and he is back in his apartment with his mom under hospice care. John's prognosis is not good; the doctors say it’s just a matter of time, but we are praying for a miracle and so is John.
Many of you have enjoyed John's photography and have encouraged him along the way. For that, he will be forever grateful, and he thanks each one of you. Hopefully, he will catch a few more photos before he makes his final journey. He is doing his best to stay at home with his mom with whom they have shared a life and an apartment for the last 17 years. They have been great “roomies”. John's two brothers, Rob and Pat have been his champions all his life and they have been incredibly loving and helpful during this difficult journey. His brothers - they are the best. John will miss his family and his friends, but he plans on taking good care of all of them when he makes it to Heaven. He is resigned to what God has planned for him.
Living is expensive but dying is as well. John was not quite prepared for the enormous medical bills, the cost of home care, and even the cost of an inexpensive funeral. At 56, who thinks of such things? John has spent his life being afraid to ask for help, but now he knows he must ask for help to ease the burden on his mom and family. John is asking for your help, support and prayers. If you can find it in your heart to make a small contribution to his GoFundMe page, this will help John through the last part of his life, and hopefully, there will be a little left over to get his mom into a new living situation.
Please keep John in your prayers as he will keep you in his.
John and his family are eternally grateful and cannot thank you enough for your encouragement, love and friendship.
God bless you. God loves you and John loves you.
