John Davis is a former Tift County Blue Devil standout baseball player and a current Georgia Southern University Eagle outfielder. He has always been known for his athletic ability, leadership, and dedication both on and off the field. Recently, John and his loved ones received the difficult news that he was diagnosed with Embryonal RMS, a rare form of soft tissue cancer. On March 5, 2026, John underwent surgery to remove the mass, and has now began chemotherapy at UF Shands in Gainesville, FL.

This diagnosis has brought unexpected challenges and expenses for John and his family. Friends, family, and former teammates have come together to support him during this time, and have started this fundraising campaign to help ease the financial burden. The funds raised will go directly toward covering medical bills, travel and lodging expenses for treatment, and any other needs related to his care.
