Support John Clark's Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer
Donation protected
Our dad, John Clark, has always been a hardworking man who never asks for help. But now, we’re asking for help on his behalf as he faces one of the biggest challenges of his life.
At the end of August 2024, John was admitted to Ashland Hospital for pancreatitis. Unfortunately, this was just the beginning of hospital stays. He spent September and October in and out of the hospital battling severe pancreatitis, with little clarity on what was causing it.
At the beginning of this year, he was finally able to undergo additional testing in Duluth. After an inconclusive biopsy, John was referred to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, where he was diagnosed with pancreatic adenocarcinoma—a serious and aggressive cancer.
John will be receiving care in both Ashland and Rochester, and while we are incredibly grateful for the world-class medical team supporting him, we also know that the road ahead will be tough.
But if anyone is stubborn enough to beat cancer, it’s John Clark.
John is not just a fighter—he’s a husband, dad, and proud papa to his grandkids. He loves hunting, spending time outdoors, and being with his family. He’s strong-willed (some might say stubborn) and fiercely independent, but more than anything, he’s someone who has always been there for the people he loves.
When this began last year, John could not work for an extended period. This impacted his health insurance coverage, making an already difficult situation even more challenging. Now, as he begins treatment, he is unable to return to work as planned, leaving his wife, Debbie, as the sole provider for their household.
We want to do everything we can to ease the financial stress so they can focus on what truly matters—John’s health.
Donations will go toward:
• Medical expenses
• Travel costs for treatment
• Day-to-day expenses
John is a private and proud man who never likes to ask for help, but we know that family, friends, and community support can make all the difference.
If you’re able to donate, we are incredibly grateful. If you can’t, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help spread the word.
Thank you for your kindness, love, and prayers during this time.
