Support John Chen Beckwith’s Recovery At Home!

Donation protected
In December, John suffered from a major stroke and has been in hospitals and rehab centers for nearly 2 months. He finally has a discharge date of February 24, and we are raising money to pay for accommodations to the house in Hillsboro and for additional in-home caregiver support.

John will be living with his family on the first floor of the house, and fortunately, Medicaid is paying for some items like a motorized wheelchair, hospital bed, and Hoyer lift (for transfers).

But we need to raise $30,000 to pay for additional ADA improvements like a roll-in shower, toilet, and ramp. Medicaid has approved 100 hours of in-home care every 4 weeks, but he will need additional caregiver support during the initial stage of his recovery.

We all love John and want to support his transition back home. Please consider donating to help pay for these critical expenses. The family will access these funds directly through an account set up by his granddaughter Madison, so please know your donations will only benefit them.

John really appreciates all of your love and support.

On behalf of John’s family and friends; thank you for helping increase his accessibility and recovery.
