Update: 5/30/25
John has gone to our Lord and Savior. He is at peace now. We are continuing to raise money for his Funeral and to help his family with unpaid bills.
Update 5/19/2025: First of all, thank you so much for sharing this and for any donations you have sent at all. We are beyond appreciative. It cost Becky $20 in gas one way to go all the way to Fort Wayne. She stays with him usually for at least 2 days before she comes home to check on the kids because of that. (Both kids are older but are dependents at home.)
John is not able to get up and walk at all. He needs significant assistance. The nurse stepped out of the bathroom, and he fell over and banged his head pretty good. He has a nice bump but the CT after showed he is OK from that.
They continue to monitor his blood pressure as it keeps shooting up. He is now also having issues with his sugars. John has no history of diabetes, but his sugars are now swinging widely up into the 400. They are monitoring it closely now too.
At this point, he cannot leave the hospital. He cannot go home. They foresee him continuing in the hospital for a while yet.
Any support and continued prayers are greatly appreciated.

My brother John has been struggling financially to pay basic bills for a while now. He is the sole income with his wife, son, and daughter to support. Due to his cancer diagnosis, he has been unable to work since the beginning of January this year.
John was diagnosed with end-stage Esophageal Adenocarcinoma that metastasized to his liver and lymph nodes in October 2024. He has been undergoing chemo and radiation therapy. Sadly, his cancer has continued to spread to his lungs, and now his brain as well. These past few days, this was compounded with a stroke.
John is a 59-year-old resident of Goshen, IN. His main income was as a taxidermist for our father, working at Ron's Taxidermy in Union, MI, where his artistic abilities were able to excel. He has worked hard his entire life and has held down two jobs to support his family. (His wife, Becky, has been unable to work since 2015 due to health issues.) To help supplement his income, he has become well known for playing electric guitar in several bar bands. He also donated his time and talent playing guitar for his local church.
Although John was recently granted Medicaid and approved for disability, he has been without an income for several months now, and what is now coming in is not enough to cover basic bills, many past due. Currently, he has exhausted all resources.
Please pray for John Joseph Bond and donate to help him if you can. We all thank you and may God bless you all.
