Becky & John are in need of assistance. I am posting this on behalf of Becky's daughter, Casey Lemons. John had a fall back in October. He was rushed to Albany Medical Center where he had emergency surgery to repair a severe break in his leg, which required screws for the repair. He was not able to come home right away due to this accident as well as his other medical problems. He was in rehab for a month learning how to walk after his injury. He is not able to navigate stairs, so accommodations needed to be made for him to come home. A metal ramp has been built at their home from the sidewalk to the front door. A grant covered a portion of this, but they still owe $3,000 to pay off the balance. He was finally able to come home before Thanksgiving.

During that time, Becky also became sick with COVID & the flu, and she has been unable to return to work since. She is still recovering from both illnesses, which has been difficult among her other medical issues. They have lost most of their income in the past few months due to John's injury and Becky's illness. We do not know when Becky will be able to return to work. If you can donate anything to help them cover the remaining cost of the ramp as well as other bills & expenses during this difficult time, it would be greatly appreciated.
