Family and friends,
It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of our dear brother John Anthony Gonzales. He was a beloved husband, brother and friend. John Anthony passed away on July 1st, 2024. He leaves behind his devoted wife, mother, brother, many spiritual children, and friends. Despite the pain we feel at his loss, we rejoice knowing that he is finally resting, pain-free, and in the presence of the Lord.
John battled for many years with his health; weight loss, needing a kidney transplant, losing his eyesight, the list could go on but we need say no more. If you knew John, you know that he fought hard every day to not let his limitations define him, therefore we won’t either.
John was so many things to so many different people; a jokester, a chef, a well of wisdom, an encourager, a fighter, a worshiper, and maybe even a little stubborn. His legacy lives on in all those he impacted with his life, ministry, and testimony; he set such an example for all of us to follow. No matter the circumstance, no matter the pain, no matter the time, he was not a quitter and always pushed to fulfill his purpose here with us. As he would say, “Let your passion be your purpose.” His passion was the Lord, to worship Him was His purpose. Alongside his wife, Kimberly, he led many people to worship the Lord in spirit and truth.
As we mourn the loss of such a remarkable man, we seek your support to help cover the funeral expenses and provide John with a dignified farewell here in Houston, TX. We truly believe our loving brother should be honored and sent out big. He deserves to be surrounded by all of those whom he loved, cared for, and cherished.
In order for us to make it special, we need your help. We aim to ease the financial burden on his grieving family during this difficult time. Every contribution, great and small, will be greatly appreciated and will go directly towards the funeral costs.
We thank you for your kindness and generosity. Your contributions and support mean the world to us during this challenging time. May the Lord Jesus Christ multiply your blessings back to you.
