This is my friend John Harrell. He lived in one of the apartments that was destroyed in the devastating fire this past week. Everything he owned has been destroyed except for himself, his dog Petey, his truck, and the clothing on his back. John is a great person and never hesitates to help people out. He is a hard worker and is employed in Alpena. With that said, he could benefit from some help from our community to get back on his feet so he can start rebuilding his life. If you are unable to donate financially you might consider donating clothing (pants 32 x32, shirts L) tools (he did maintence on the side and lost his collection he was so proud he had worked so hard to accumulate), a winter coat, and any leads on apartment/house rentals in the Alpena area. John also has a truck that currently needs some work if anybody knows of a mechanic that would be willing to work with him.
