Support John and Marla

We suspect that no one likes to ask for financial assistance. But sometimes friends of those in need feel compelled to help somehow.  So we are setting this up as a way for the  community to offer a bit of help to Marla and John during another challenging time.

As many of you know, John has been recovering from cancer treatment and it has not been an easy road.  With the recovery setbacks, they face not only the physical discomforts but also an emotional toll from the physical hardships and not being able to do all the normal things one does.  On top of that, this family has had several unexpected car and home repairs that happened along the way, creating additional strain on them financially.  It is a wonder how they have handled so many challenges coming their way.

And another one hits!  John, Marla and Justice could use a hand with an unexpected, major and therefore, expensive, home repair. It has already been challenging financially not being able to work full time due to the health issues they have encountered.  So this unexpected home repair adds another untimely burden.

They dedicate their lives to compassion and giving and we want to give some of that back to them. This community has been so generous with time, money and resources when John had to isolate at home with Marla and Justice.  They are so incredibly grateful for the support. 

Please consider donating towards this repair to release some financial burden.   Please contribute what you can.  We recognize many people are in challenging situations given the current environment.  We hope this will help them feel a little less financial pressure and will enable them to focus on healing and getting stronger.
