Support John and Linda Dyer's Recovery

On Wednesday morning, my parents, John Valerie and Linda Dyer,

lost their home of almost 40 years along with all of their possessions in the Eaton Fire. We are all still in shock and thankful they are alive. However, I am reaching out to you for any help. During tragedies like this, asking for help and coming together as a community is paramount to healing. Losing the whole neighborhood and most of our beloved Altadena is just surreal. Please, anything helps. They will need to replace everything, find temporary housing, and meet their basic needs over the next year.

If you know us, you know we as a family have been through a huge amount of loss in just a few years. We lost my little sister Samara, to cancer in 2020, along with our property in the Bear fire, and many other loved ones in the last few years.

One silver lining is we had the joy of coming together over the holidays for one last Christmas in our beloved home.
