Our dear friend, John, lives on a remote island in Alaska with his best friend, Leo. John and his pup have been inseparable for almost 10 years now.

Leo lost a bit of weight recently, and then he started getting sick about a week ago. John got a plane over to the next island where there was a vet.

Unfortunately, they found a mass on Leo’s spleen. There’s a chance that it is cancerous, but they won’t know for sure until they get in there. And this is where it gets tough.

We would LOVE to be able to help John give Leo this surgery and hopefully give them more time together. It’s estimated to be somewhere around $9,000.
