Support John and Family to Avoid Homelessness

My husband John is on social security retirement and receives $828 a month. I had to quit working due to my health and have filed for disability. I was approved for Medicaid and food stamps but where we live is so expensive we can keep up with rent. I fear we are going to be homeless if we can't come up with rent by November 9. I have been looking for a cheaper place to live. We do not have first and last.month to move in somewhere else. Places that are affordable do not take animals and we have a cat. We have contacted 211 and they have no resources to help. St. Louis county housing has a wait list and it's now closed. Anything helps and we are grateful for any donations and prayers.
