Support John and Connie's Recovery from Fire

Donation protected
I’m writing to you today with a heavy heart, as our community has been shaken by an unimaginable tragedy. Early this week, a devastating fire tore through the home of our dear neighbors, John and Connie. In a matter of minutes, their world was turned upside down. Their home, their memories, and their belongings were all lost to the flames.

Thankfully, John and Connie are safe, but everything they’ve worked for—everything they’ve built together—is now gone. The house they’ve called home for years is nothing more than a charred shell. All of their family photos, personal belongings, and irreplaceable items have been destroyed. As you can imagine, the emotional and financial toll of this tragedy is overwhelming.

I didn’t know how long it would take for John and his family to rebuild, or if they even had the resources to start over. Insurance might help, but it wouldn’t cover everything. Not the years of memories, not the things that truly mattered to them. But there was something I could do: start a GoFundMe.

I've started this GoFundMe campaign to help them get back on their feet, and I am asking for your support. Every little bit counts—whether it’s $5, $10, or more. The funds will go directly to helping the family with temporary housing, essential needs, and eventually rebuilding their home. No amount is too small, and every donation is a step toward restoring hope for this family.

I am going to keep this GoFundMe open until the end of January, cash out everything, and surprise them with everything I was able to raise. If you are not sure about using GoFundMe, I also have Venmo and PayPal!

John and Connie are truly some of the sweetest people I know. From the very first time I met them, they made me feel like part of their extended family. They have this incredible warmth about them, always offering a kind word or a smile, even on tough days. Whether it's a quick chat or a thoughtful gesture just when you need it, their generosity and care are evident in everything they do. Their home is a place of comfort and love, and it's clear that every corner of it holds the memories of their kind hearts. I feel lucky to know them, and it's hard to imagine this neighborhood without their bright spirits around.

If you aren’t able to contribute financially, sharing this campaign with your friends and family will help get the word out and bring in much-needed support.

Let’s come together and show this incredible family that they’re not alone. Let’s help them rebuild, not just their home, but their hope for the future.

Thank you so much for your generosity, your kindness, and your support.
