As some of you know John and Cati Brenner were in a SXS accident doing what they love at a UTV Takeover event in Coos Bay. John crushed his T-12 vertebrae and crushed his spinal cord causing him to be paralyzed in the groin and from the knees down. They have already had to close down their new business and John had to leave his career doing acoustical ceilings which he has done since 1999 out of High School.

They will be flying to one of the top spinal hospitals in the world for 60+ days. Cati will only be covered to stay with John the first 30 days and will have to pay the other 30+ days out pocket while maintaining all home expenses. They had to take a helicopter to their current hospital in Oregon and will need to be transferred in another plane for intense rehabilitation. They only had the clothes on their back and are in need of clothes and supplies.

When they come home they will be living in a toy hauler on their property and will need to build ramps and find a way to continue to heal and learn a new normal.

John and Cati are humble and would never ask for help but would help anyone without question.

They have only been married 10 months and quickly bought property and started a company, and in one second their life took a devastating detour.

The end goal of building a home in Holly is the same, their passion for SXS is the same, it’s just the path to get there will be different and still unclear at this time how they will make that happen.
