Support John and Cathy Banks' Recovery
Donation protected
As friends of Jordan Banks, we are hoping to help ease the burden of tragedy that has recently overwhelmed his family. Jordan and his sister, Sydney, are amid life's biggest grief as they watch both their mother and father fight their separate battles at the same time. All funds raised will go toward the necessary medical treatments and any financial responsibilities that are to come in this long journey ahead. If you are unable to contribute money at this time- we understand- a simple share with your friends and family would mean just as much. Thank you in advance for supporting John, Cathy, Jordan, and Sydney as they navigate through this severely dark and difficult time.
The story:
"I wanted to share an update on our family’s recent struggles. My father has been battling some health issues, and after a series of tests, he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, which has spread to his liver. The medical teams at various hospitals have been incredible, and we’ve started a chemotherapy plan to fight this.
As if that wasn’t enough, earlier this morning, our family dog had a severe panic attack after encountering a group of deer. In a tragic turn of events, while trying to manage the situation, my mother was attacked by the dog and sustained life-threatening injuries. She was life-flighted to Pittsburgh and is currently in the ICU, where she is stable but still facing a long road to recovery with surgeries and rehab.
This month has been incredibly tough for us. My sister has been a true warrior, handling everything with remarkable strength and bravery. Our parents have always done their best to ensure our well-being, and now we are rallying together to support them through this challenging time. We deeply appreciate all the support and love we’ve received. Our parents are fighting with everything they have, and we are all in this battle together. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts."
