Support JoHanna's Stroke Recovery Journey

Our beloved mother, JoHanna Thompson, recently suffered a stroke due to a bloodclot in her brain, and our family is now facing an unexpected and urgent medical crisis.

JoHanna is the heart of our home — a strong, nurturing woman who has always put her family and others first. Whether through her kindness, wisdom, or quiet strength, she has touched the lives of so many. Today, she needs our help.

The stroke has left her with significant financial challenges since mom has no medical insurance and very limited income that only supports basic needs.

It is a miracle that we were able to connect with the doctors within the 4hr window to administer stroke medication in time to stop the bloodclot that made it's way to her brain before causing severe permanent damage.

Sadly, this only marks the beginning of a long road towards a full recovery. Inclusive of routine neurosurgery appointments, rehabilitation, and specialized care for the foreseeable future.

We are calling on community to lean into the spirit of support our mother has been an example of all her life, in every community she has been apart of.

We need your help to ensure she has the resources she needs to pull through.

We are raising funds to cover the medical cost already accrued and projected medical cost for the care that she will need-- inclusive of life saving medication.
