Support Johanna! Even $5 helps!

Johanna, our dear friend, sustained serious injuries in a car accident, and she is currently out of work on limited disability funds ($157 per week, photo below) and no eligibility for food stamps. She is walking with a cane. She is in constant pain and she needs our help. Johanna has always put others first, treating everyone with kindness and dignity. Now it's our turn to support her.

Johanna's impact on our community is incredible. As part of her "Girl Gang," I've seen her help people with housing, healthcare, and pet care. She has a genuine concern for everyone's well-being, and she possesses a unique gift for building up their self-esteem so they can move through the world with a sense of worthiness.

She founded the nonprofit Stubby’s Heroes, assisting marginalized communities and their pets in Georgia. Her outreach focused on improving the lives of people and pets in need. Johanna coordinated volunteers to help marginalized communities keep their beloved pets, organizing low-cost and free rabies, spay/neuter, vaccination clinics, and working with the Fulton County animal shelter and others to cover fees for those unable to reclaim their pets. Johanna's dedication is unmatched, from building fences to releasing chained dogs to helping the homeless.

In addition, Stubby’s Heroes provided monthly outreach through a campaign called Day of Compassion. This nonprofit spent the day serving the homeless community with food and essential supplies, including hygiene items, work boots, suits for returning to work, and back-to-school supplies for children.

Johanna’s advocacy work has also influenced Georgia's leadership, improving animal rights and benefiting countless lives. She collaborated with the Mayor of Atlanta, the Atlanta City Council, and County Commissioners to revise and enforce animal control ordinances, creating lasting benefits for animals and people across Georgia. Johanna’s selfless spirit has been a beacon of hope and compassion.

Johanna has dedicated her entire life to serving others. Being part of her "Girl Gang" has been a humbling and inspiring experience for me, as well as guiding my own community outreach. I wish I could personally lift Johanna out of the medical hardship she is facing. Having suffered a serious injury myself, I understand the feelings of helplessness and desperation she is going through.

She needs peace and support to heal. Johanna has always been there for her community, and now, in her time of need, we can be there for her. Let's come together for Johanna, as she has for so many. Every contribution counts, even $5! If you can’t donate, please share this message. Thank you!
