On 8/15/2026, Johan Blanco — a dedicated yoga teacher, community pillar, and light in the lives of everyone who knows him — was detained by ICE just minutes before he was set to teach a sold-out Power Vinyasa class in Miami.

Johan has spent years showing up for this community — on the mat and off it. He is not just a yoga instructor. He is a mentor, a healer, and a friend to hundreds of students whose lives he has touched through his teaching. That morning, his students arrived to an empty studio. Johan never made it through the door.

We are rallying together to support Johan and his family during this incredibly difficult and uncertain time. Funds raised will go directly toward:

• Legal fees — securing experienced immigration legal counsel to fight for Johan’s release and case

• Family support — ensuring his loved ones are taken care of while he cannot be with them

• Any additional costs that arise throughout this process
