Help Joey navigate his leukemia journey ,

My name is Danielle , and I am the fiancé of Joey Iorio. I am raising money to help Joey navigate through his Leukemia Journey .

On 04/24/26 we were very unexpectedly told that Joey had Leukemia . He is in the hospital still , and will be for a few more weeks . We are waiting for the repeat biopsy results to see what the next steps are and when he will be able to go home. He has completed his first round of chemo ( 3 separate chemos within 7 days) we will have a lot of out patient visits to follow up with in the future once discharged and he will be out of work until at least September .

Joey never asks for anything and is always the one giving to others. I am creating this for him so it’s one less thing he has to worry about during this difficult time.

As the doctors say , it will be a long road ahead but together we will get through it!

He is one of a kind , the most genuine , sweetest , funniest & caring person I know , he brightens any ones day and brightens up any room he walks in. He is so loved by so many people , his family , friends , coworkers , colleagues , students, and teachers. He makes an impact on so many . He goes above and beyond with everything he does , whether it’s in the classroom , helping kids pass the class , helping them solve a problem or find an answer , listening and being supportive if they’re having a bad day. Joey also coaches baseball at the high school. He dedicates many hours after school to make sure his kids are where they need to be to be successful , even if that means staying after practice to help the kids that want more work.
