Support Joey's Battle Against Lung Cancer

Hello friends,

This past week, my amazing stepdad was given the devastating news that he has stage 4 lung cancer at 51 years old.

This is an unfortunate and heartbreaking situation. For those who know my stepdad, Joey, they know him as a hardworking man. He has always been a provider. For those who don’t know him, please know that creating a GoFundMe is a last resort and under normal circumstances, he would never ask for help. In fact, he’s usually the one doing the helping—just slightly over a year ago, he and my mother took care of my grandma in their home as her body was overcome by this awful disease. We never thought a year later he would be battling as well.

Joey has been a hardworking blue-collar man his entire life and has worked himself to the bone to make sure our family never went without. Sadly, as a car painter being exposed to various chemicals and substances within paint, it highly increases his risk of lung cancer. Despite being the one that was given life-altering news, he is still concerned for his family.

We don’t want Joey to be concerned and worried about paying for treatment, medication, bills, etc. We just want him to focus on surviving and being able to enjoy time with his loved ones in the meantime.

Any and all donations would go directly to my stepfather to help him pay for his treatments or any additional care he may need during this time.
