Support Joey Crumby's Heart Transplant Journey

Story

Joey Crumby is a Hardin County man through and through that has spent the majority of his life serving and saving others. Joey was continuing to work as a paramedic until last summer when his heart failure due to sarcoidosis had progressed and he required a continuous infusion to increase his cardiac output. With this change he was no longer able to do what he loved and had a passion for, which was working in the back of the ambulance saving lives as a paramedic. With this change came a long added financial stressors for him and his wife Amanda who has picked up an extra job to support their family. Joey was recently released from a nearly 2 week stay in the hospital on Friday, and had to be air lifted back to the hospital within 3 days. Joey and Amanda are praying he will be approved for a heart transplant soon, and with that, they will have to live in Nashville for at least 3 months while he recovers. Any little bit that you could donate to help Joey and Amanda during this significantly difficult time would mean the world to them.
