Hello Family, Friends, and Coworkers!

This year (for reasons I still don't understand), I’ve decided to run the 2026 Chicago Marathon. As part of this endeavor, I’ll be running on behalf of the Chicago Coalition to End Homelessness (CCH).

I chose to join CCH’s team for a few important reasons. First, I want to use the platform I have to support something meaningful. These days, it's easy to feel like we don’t have agency to make an impact against challenges facing our communities. Through fundraising, I hope to make a dent in one of the increasingly pressing issues affecting Chicago.

I’m also deeply aligned with the values CCH lives out. Having seen the impact of homelessness across the North Side, I’ve come to realize how urgently this issue needs to be addressed (and what I’ve witness day to day is only the tip of the iceberg). The numbers tell a bleaker story: an estimated 68,000 Chicagoans experience homelessness each year, including more than 12,000 youth and young adults.

Funds raised through this effort will directly support CCH’s work to advance statewide policy solutions around housing, education, public benefits, and other critical issues affecting people experiencing homelessness as well as creating awareness and providing community outreach.
