Please Help a Master Carpenter Keep Going After Massive Shop Fire
I'm raising funds to help Joe Coke and his family recover after a massive fire wiped out his shop, which contained all of his tools, not to mention many family heirlooms.
He is a full-time carpenter, has a family to care for, tons of jobs lined up, and now... no tools left. He works hard and is a family man and provides for his family. Now that income is in jeopardy.
Many of those things can't be replaced. But what can be replaced are most of the tools (though they will lack the old ones' sentimental value...!)
Joe Coke is a master carpenter. He works with his hands and his mind every day. If he doesn't have a tool in hand and a problem to solve, he is probably thinking about and planning a build for his next client, all of whom have been his friends for decades.
He has a big heart and is always there for his friends. He recently did a multiweek volunteer effort in Columbia, MO, with Habitat for Humanity showing up to build houses for those less fortunate. This was not his first volunteer effort to serve the Columbia community.
Joe's heart and soul always align with making everyone else's day brighter and building things that inspire and make life better. This GoFundMe will only be a drop in the bucket toward his recovery, just thankful that most of his tools are replaceable and that his house and family are A-OK.
He never seeks the spotlight and will probably kill me for doing this! Thank you for reading... I know he just wants to get back to work, helping others.
