Hi all, this is James, Joe's partner. Unfortunately, Joe has had to be taken to the hospital for a severe case of pneumonia that has badly affected his lungs and kidneys. He is currently responsive, but still heavily sedated and looking at a week-long hospital stay.

While he is slowly on the mend, it will take time for him to recover, and with the way the US healthcare system works, time is money that Joe and his family can't afford, especially with him understandably unable to work during this.

Anything you can offer during this trying time will go towards his hospital bills and supporting his dad, Tom — and, of course, is deeply appreciated by his family and the people who love him.
