Help Joe Rebuild After Life-Changing Motorcycle Accident
Donation protected
A few days ago, our brother and friend Joe was in a devastating motorcycle accident that changed his life in an instant. He suffered severe injuries to his spine—crushing his T4 vertebrae and damaging bones in his neck—and was rushed into emergency surgery. Right now, Joe is in the Special Care Unit fighting through the first steps of a long and difficult recovery. Joe is only 23 years old. He’s incredibly hardworking, caring, resilient, and full of life. He loves playing basketball, fishing, spending time with friends and family, and making people laugh—he has that rare ability to light up every room he walks into. He had just recently bought the motorcycle he loved and was so excited to ride. But now, because of this tragic accident, Joe is facing the very real possibility of permanent paralysis to his lower body. Despite everything, he remains determined. Even now, he’s focused on making progress, staying positive, and doing whatever it takes to improve. His strength and resilience are inspiring, but he can’t do this alone.
As Joe’s brother and sister-in-law, we—Jacob and Stephanie—are organizing this fundraiser to help support his recovery. Joe is going to need help with the financial burden from surgery, hospitalization, rehabilitation, equipment, home changes, and long-term care. Right now, the most urgent needs are equipment and resources that will help Joe live as normal a life as possible. Every donation—no matter the size—goes directly toward Joe’s medical expenses, adaptive needs, and giving him a fighting chance at the best quality of life possible.
If you can’t donate right now, please consider sharing Joe’s story with others. Your support, prayers, and kindness mean the world to Joe and to all of us standing beside him. It would mean everything to our family to see the community rally around Joe and give him the best possible chance at success and happiness. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
