Support Joe's Liver Transplant Journey

Hi everyone,

As many of you know, Joe’s liver transplant has been a long time coming. While we don’t have an official date yet, we know it’s approaching soon—and the preparations, logistics, and emotional toll are already in full swing.

We’ve created this fundraiser after encouragement from those who’ve asked how they can help. While we’re fortunate to have insurance, it won’t cover everything. We’re expecting significant medical bills, co-pays, and many out-of-pocket expenses.

Joe will be out of work for at least 3 months—likely longer. In the meantime, I’m making the 200-mile round trip nearly every day to be with him in the hospital, while also running the household, caring for our kids and dogs, and managing school routines. I’m taking time off work as needed, but my PTO is limited and will eventually run out.

Funds raised will help us with:

Medical expenses not covered by insurance

Travel costs (gas, tolls, parking)

Household support while Joe is recovering

Loss of income during time away from work
