I am raising funding for any assistance for the passing of my father, Joe. He passed away on May 3rd in his sleep.

He was born in Kettering, Ohio and went to Fairmont West High School, where he met his high school sweetheart. During that time, he avidly "terrorized" his neighborhood in his 1970 Buick Gran Sport, his prized procession. He was an master mechanic after high school.

In 1991, we moved to the country where he took up digging yellow root, cutting down trees, and getting his hands dirty underneath the hood.

He became accustomed to the countryside, considered it his real hometown. He became in touch with nature, appreciating the little things.

Joe prioritized others well-being over his own. He took care of his mother all the way until her last days.

In 2013, he met up with his high school sweetheart, Kathleen. After 25+ years apart, They rekindled their love magically as if they've never been apart.

Joe started having major medical setbacks, starting in May 2019, suffering a stroke. A heart attack followed two months later. It had been a slow decline ever since.

Labor Day 2024, we all suffered from Covid, but slammed him harder. He had suffered that, along with sepsis and pneumonia. Never recovered after that. I tried to get help outside the house but couldn't. He had severe edema, clots, his infected gallbladder removed afterword, but declined since.

I am raising money to assist with funeral expenses, with any money to spare to help my Mother, Kathleen. As their caretaker, especially for her, I would like to get her possibly move into a smaller home or apartment.
