Support Joe's Family: Urgent Housing Need

Hi, I'm Joe.

I have had a series of bad luck. I recently lost my home due to union strikes. I have a new job now, but it doesn't pay anywhere near what I was making. My current landlord decided to sell the home, and we are forced to move. My credit went down due to the strike and not being able to pay all my bills on time, so I am unable to qualify for a house or an apartment. We have to be out by April 1st. Luckily, we found a place that is willing to work with us, but it costs a little more. We need to pay $6,000 to move in; that covers the first month, last month, and deposit. I'm scared that we are going to be homeless soon, and I worry about my six-year-old son not having a place to call home. My wife is a full-time college student and a substitute teacher. She doesn't make very much, and we currently share a vehicle, so it's tough to both work and take our son to his activities.

Any help would be a lifesaver, and I can't possibly thank you enough for your help. I'm not sure if I'll get a single dollar donated to me, but this is my last resort. I'm out of options.
