Joe is a guy, a man, a hardworking family man and when this guy/man/manticore shows up, you know things are getting done. He's the kind of guy who does everything alone while making sure that the people that he cares about, don't. He busts his knuckles, but breaks torque. Hes dirty and rough because he spends little time being comfortable, and has no problem with making anyone who pushes his boundaries uncomfortable themselves. He's a Thorne.
Well, sometimes, these kinds of guys get themselves into a jam. The kinds of jams that make people queasy. And they won't say a word about it, they just deal with it. If youre not the type yourself, you probably know a few people like that.

Well, Joe has a jam, and we, the people around Joe, arent gonna be satisfied with keeping it quiet. You see, this time Joe didnt bust a knuckle, he lost a part of a finger and rearranged the bones in his hand.
Now first off, he didnt do it to himself, it was an accident. A long pine limb was pushed into a position where the tension loaded the limb into a U, and Joe had just asked his wife to step back when the limb decided it had had enough of just sittin. The log holding the foremost part of the branch slipped and the pine limb struck out like a wooden battering ram, hit his hand and slammed him in his chest. It knocked him backwards, twisting his knee, while the foremost section of his middle finger took a sabbatical from the rest and flew through the air, crossing in front of the sun, landing in a pile leaves while Joe landed in the brush. It was a painful sight to see, his kids were brave, his wife responsive, and Joe will eventually be back, sans half a middle finger and his trust in brush piles.
However, the matter is that Joe carries his family with the money he breaks his ass to bring in, and the need for Joe to sit still and heal properly is paramount. It effectively removes him from working.

So my dude Joe needs a little bit of help so that his family can pay the bills. See, there's something about these kinds of fellas, and if they see that they have to go out and make sure the money is there, they will. Unfortunately, that means he places his freshly surgically repaired hand at risk, and ladies and gentleman, I ask you to save this man from himself. Anything works. 1$? Great. If youre a working person, youve probably been in this situation, and wish you had some kind of help with that big block of uncertainty. If you got that help, well, you were sure happy you did, I betcha.

So Im asking for Joe's kids, his family, and for his hand. If you can help a fella out, even just 1.50..itd be like buyin him a coffee on break...please do. His wife is the direct beneficiary of this fund, no games.

Spread the word. And buy this man as many coffees as you can help with. The intent here is to cover his bills to help him get beyond his injury, the right way. Its the time of year that means falling behind can kill the holidays for this little family.
Joe doesnt hesitate to invest himself and his trucks, tools, or time to help others, and he's the kind of guy who wont ask, even when he needs the help.
So Im asking for him...can you help him stay home by chipping in a little bit? Help give him the room to rest, so he can get back out there and do what he does best, just not too soon.
Anything you can do would be appreciated greatly. Thankya.
