21 days in the books thus far in the hospital and still some time to go. Originally we thought he would be home three days after surgery but Joel’s recovery seems to have no clear end yet. Joel had surgery to a found spinal fracture after living with years of chronic pain. This surgery was done to hopefully assist with the pain. Now Joel is fighting to gain mobility. All donations will go towards transitioning from hospital to home where he will be rehabilitating 24 hours a day. Because Joel has little to no leg mobility the following items will allow Joel to finally come home and have a good quality of life. The following are items that are required to have Joel finally come home:

A new “specially crafted leg brace”
