On September 19, 2024, our family was abruptly impacted by the death of the oldest of three brothers, a grandfather to a boy and a girl, and father to two children. His sudden passing surprised everyone with its swiftness. At just over 60 years old and still full of plans, Kenned D.C. had one last wish: to give his youngest son, aged 16, Joel Pereira Coelho Neto, the experience and opportunity to travel to the United States of America to learn English, explore new cultures, and receive a better quality education.

With the firm intention of fulfilling this wish of a hardworking, loyal brother, loving grandfather, dedicated son, and concerned father, we are seeking help to achieve the necessary amount to make this happen. For non-immigrant Brazilians intending to study in the USA, an F-1 visa (specific for students) is required. The visa application process includes: payment of non-refundable fees to the American consulate in Brazil, scheduling an interview and submitting documents, traveling between cities or states depending on the interview location, legal costs, advance payment for the study program through the responsible agency, ticket costs, advance payment for accommodations suggested by the agency, as well as food expenses and daily costs for the duration of courses, which can last from 3 months to a year depending on the choice.

With this, we approximate the necessary amount for a dream that symbolizes significant growth in the life of this teenager who, amidst a dramatic loss, can fulfill a noble goal inspired by his father's last wish.
