Support Joel Smed against his cancer battle

Joel has been through so much over the
last couple of years. He was diagnosed
with testicular cancer in 2019. After
treatment and the NHS doing there
magic, joel and the family thought the
cancer had gone. Whilst all this was
going off he had bought a car from a local dealer that really ripped him off and
he went through lots of stress.

Joel then had to have regular blood tests to make sure he was fit and healthy. After a while it was apparent cancer had
returned but the doctors were having
trouble pin pointing it. After lots of tests
in 2020 Joel was diagnosed with
stomach cancer.

This lockdown has been awful for us all
but especially for Joel. As you can
imagine money has been tight and his
lovely partner, Lauren who works in the beauty industry and hasn’t been able to work. Even if she could, it would be hard as she has had to isolate with joel, due to risk of infection.

Joel is having intensive chemo at the
moment. He has kept alot of this to
himself hes a really proud lad.

It would be nice if any of his friends,
family or community would like to just
spare a few £ to help him along or just
cheer him up and let him no we are
thinking about him and were all proud of him.

I think it cant go without saying all the
local charity’s and causes his mum Drena Froggatt has helped in the local
community. Think this is a chance for us
all to say Thankyou and show our
appreciation from our families to yours x
