Joel Moore is a Junior at Canyon High School. During a game on September 19th he made a routine tackle in his football game and ended up with a lacerated pancreas. Doctors rushed him into emergency surgery after the game and had to remove part of his pancreas and his spleen. Joel continues to experience complications from his injury and has had multiple stints in the local hospital. Due to the severity of his injury, Joel has had to seek help from specialists across the state that deal with this kind of trauma.

Many people have already assisted with food, visits, and prayers, but people are still asking how they can help in Joel’s recovery. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward covering his medical expenses and easing the financial burden on his family.
