Support Joel Kresken's Battle with Blood Cancer
Donation protected
Joel Kresken is a hardworking, loving husband, father, and grandpa. Joel has four sons and two granddaughters. He is also a small business owner who has done a lot of work in the community.
In August of 2023, Joel was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). Myelodysplastic syndrome is a rare blood cancer that occurs when the bone marrow doesn't produce enough healthy blood cells.
Over the last year, Joel has received extensive testing, several rounds of chemotherapy, and blood transfusions. At this time, Joel is preparing to undergo a bone marrow transplant. This procedure can potentially cure his form of cancer and gives him the best chance at getting back to a normal life.
Joel is under the care of the incredible team at UW Health. He will have a long hospital stay after the transplant, which marks the start of a long recovery journey ahead.
We are raising funds to help alleviate some of the financial stresses so that the Kresken family can focus on what truly matters — Joel's health and recovery. Your donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in supporting the family to cover the costs of his transplant, follow up appointments, treatments, hospital stay, hotels, and travel.
Please join us in coming together as a community to help the Kresken family through this battle with blood cancer. Every bit of support, whether financial or through sharing this page, will be deeply appreciated.
