Support Joel Holmes' Road to Recovery

On June 13th, 2024, my Dad, Joel Holmes was involved in a serious accident where his Ford tractor ran over him while he was working on it. The tractor rolled over his right shoulder, along his side and over his pelvis, crushing and leaving him with several fractures to his pelvis, sacrum, coccyx, clavicle, scapula, and several ribs. He was transported by CVFD to the Medi Vac who flew him to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. He has already undergone one surgery to fix his pelvis, and will require another for a different part of his pelvis, as well as his clavicle.

My Dad is the most selfless person I've ever met, happy to always lend a helping hand to those in need. He's been a vital part of the Comptche Community, and loves to story tell and impart his wisdom on to anyone that will listen.

My Dad loves his life in Comptche, and the hardest part of this next chapter is going to be missing out on the little things that make him happy like his walks with his dogs, and tinkering on his machines.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help with gas funds so that my Mom and Sister are able to trade off trips to be with my Dad during his recovery in Santa Rosa. We expect him to be in the hospital for several weeks, and possibly a rehab if needed. Our family doesn't ask for help very often, but during this time any help we can get will be incredibly appreciated. We are blown away by all the love and comments from everyone after the accident, and feel the love and prayers you have all sent our way.
