Help a Hero: Support Joe Williams During His Recovery
Hi, my name is Tyler Smith. A few months ago, I met an incredible person—Joe Williams. In the short time I’ve known him, he has shown nothing but kindness, strength, and selflessness. Joe is a dedicated father, a volunteer firefighter, and one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met.
Recently, Joe’s life took a critical turn when he was diagnosed with kidney failure. Without hesitation, I made the decision to donate my kidney to him because I knew he deserved a second chance at life. Thanks to the transplant, Joe now has the opportunity to watch his two beautiful daughters grow up—he’ll be there for their graduations, to walk them down the aisle, and, hopefully, to meet his future grandchildren.
But now, Joe needs our help. While I will be off work for six weeks recovering—with a four-month-old baby to care for—Joe faces a much greater challenge. He will be out of work for at least four months with no paid leave. As the sole provider for his family, this puts him at risk of losing his home and struggling to cover basic expenses.
Joe has spent his life serving others, risking his own safety as a volunteer firefighter to protect his community. Now, it’s our turn to give back. Let’s come together to support Joe during this difficult time. Any contribution, big or small, will help cover his living expenses, medical bills, and ensure that he has what he needs during his recovery.
Please consider donating and sharing this campaign. Your kindness will make a world of difference for a man who has dedicated his life to helping others.
Thank you for your support!
This go fund me will be also split between two parties. We are sharing it I will be giving him about 75% just so he gets more.
