Please Help Show Love and Support to Joe, Venus and Joshua

This is a fund raiser for Joe Valino and his family. Joe was diagnosed with kidney failure over 20 years ago. After years of dialysis and waiting for a new kidney, Joe finally got the call there was a kidney for him. In October of 2010, Joe received a kidney transplant and had high hopes of starting a new life. Unfortunately, his body rejected the kidney. This was devastating for Joe and his family and friends. Joe went back on the waiting list and unfortunately is no longer eligible to even be on the donor list due to him now be diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. Through the kidney disease, the rejected transplant, all the fatigue, pain and suffering... Joe kept a smile on his face and his sense of humor in tact. Which brings me to the 2nd most important day in Joes life, January 11, 2013. The day he started dating his future bride, Venus. A year and 8 months later came the number one most important day in Joes life. August 18, 2014 Joe and Venus welcomed their son Joshua. What an amazing time for Joe and his family. Joe and Venus made it official and were married on October 10, 2017. As the years have passed, Joe and Venus bought a place to call home, Venus is a full time Chicago Park District Supervisor and part time political bulldog. Fighting for the little guys as a union steward and rubbing elbows with all of the political hotshots. Joshua has grown into a smart, handsome, athletic young man with a combo of his Mom and Dads winning smile. He’s a star hockey player and continues to make his Mom and Dad very proud. Joe… well Joes story is not so upbeat. Joe has continued to fight his battle with kidney disease and now stage 4 esophageal Cancer. Joe fights everyday to remain an active part of Joshua’s life. There’s daily pain and nausea topped with debilitating fatigue, yet Joe keeps fighting. Please, whatever you can spare will help. Joe, Venus and Joshua have very uncertain futures. Most of what they have to endure is out of our control. But what we can do is help by relieving some of the financial burden for this amazingly loving family. Thank you…

Our loving Brother Joe passed away peacefully in the presence of family and friends on September 30th. His amazing legacy will live on through his beautiful wife Venus and son Joshua. Please give what you can to help this family. WE LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU JOE!!!
