Help Joseph Sullivan Find Peace and Joy in His Final Years
Joe Sullivan has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. The doctors have informed him that he has 3-7 years left to live. Many of us met Joe when we
were seeking help and relief, and Joe offered caring, non-judgmental and practical assistance in our time of pain. Now, Joe is facing his own challenge, as we want to return that same support to him.
Joe is seeking help in 2 key areas:
1) Day to day bills: cancer treatments will make it difficult for Joe to continue working full-time
and maintain the income he relies on for monthly bills. Can you help ease this burden and allow
him to focus on his health?
2) Pilgrimage to Camino de Santiago: One of Joes last wishes and dreams with his fiance Jesse, is going on a religious pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago, a spiritual journey that begins in France,
and is known as “The Way of St. James”. In addition to making priceless memories with Jesse,
this walk is an opportunity for Joe spiritual awakening to reflect, find peace, and strengthen his
connection to his faith during this challenging time.
Cancer often crystalizes one’s perspective on life - on what truly matters, and on how we spend the time
we have left. Let’s come together to support Joe, just as he has supported so many of us. In addition to
any financial contributions, Joe would also greatly appreciate your prayers, kind thoughts and words of
encouragement.
