Joe Patton, assistant golf professional at Cedar Hammock, has had a life altering set back. His role as a father of an eight month old, husband, and passionate golf pro has been turned upside down by an unexpected irreversible kidney failure, that has him on dialysis three times a week. Now, Joe needs a kidney transplant, and at such a young age he and Kelsey are living a traumatic emotional life with huge financial pressure. They need our help.

We spoke to Joe and Kelsey, and heard his message of optimism and faith, that he will someday return to work in the pro shop and to the Cedar Hammock family. Joe was told that he is a good candidate for a transplant, leading to his hope for a future raising his child, and that return to Cedar Hammock.

The expenses that Joe and Kelsey face are significant medical costs relating to his current dialysis three times a week. The travel costs to another city with a kidney transplant center will be coming up, as well food, lodging, and transportation for both to that medical center. Joe is unable to work, and personal living expenses are needed as well.

We are asking for your help to ease the financial strain, so Joe and Kelsey can focus on his journey back to health, with hope in their hearts rather than fear.
