We’re reaching out to support our mate and teammate, Joe McGroggan, who has recently suffered a serious wrist injury while playing for North Lakes United FC.

The injury is extremely serious, and Joe will require multiple surgeries followed by a long and challenging recovery. As a result, he will be unable to work for at least the next 6 months.

Joe is a dedicated worker, loving husband to Lisa, and proud dad to their beautiful 8-month-old daughter, Fíadh. After making the big move from Ireland to Australia, Joe and his young family are building a life here on their own, without the close support network of family nearby.

This unexpected injury has placed a huge financial strain on them during an already challenging time. With Joe unable to earn an income, they are facing mounting pressure to cover everyday living costs while caring for their young daughter.

As a community, we know how much Joe gives both on and off the field. Now it’s our turn to give back.
