Support Joe Lumley's Medical Recovery

Hey guys! I'm Angel and you may know me from Jiffy Lube in Des Moines, Iowa. My boss, Joe Lumley, has been the General Manager at the Merle Hay store where he has been known and loved for many years. Everybody loves Joe because of his huge heart, honesty, and a level of integrity which is hard to come by these days.

Joe has come into a hard time recently, when he learned that he has to have back surgery soon and may lose the use of his right leg in the process. He is raising his 6-year-old daughter, Emily, alone at the moment and will be out of work for at least 8 weeks (as far as we know now).

This gofundme will be used to cover some of his medical bills (whatever isn't covered by insurance), and to cover household bills and daycare costs for Emily while Joe is out of work. He found out that his long-term disability insurance did not renew at the last open enrollment. He only has 2 weeks' worth of PTO available now and will need some help with expenses for the rest of his time off.

After the 8-week healing period is over, Joe hopes to return to the store to continue his journey of helping people keep their vehicles in tip-top condition & giving his fatherly advice and love to all his customers ❤️
