Support Joe Lenart’s Stem Cell Transplant at MD Anderson
Joe was diagnosed with myelofibrosis ten years ago, a serious, rare and life-threatening bone marrow disorder that affects the body’s ability to produce healthy blood cells. After a decade of careful monitoring and treatment, his medical team at MD Anderson Cancer Center has determined that a stem cell transplant is now his best and most appropriate treatment option.
While this procedure offers hope for long-term recovery, it also brings significant financial strain. In addition to medical expenses, Joe and his wife — who will serve as his full-time caregiver throughout the transplant and recovery process — will face costs related to travel to Houston, extended lodging near the hospital, meals, medications, and loss of income during treatment and recovery.
This fundraiser has been created to help relieve that burden so Joe and his wife can focus fully on his health and healing. All funds raised will be used exclusively for transplant-related and caregiving-related expenses.
We are deeply grateful for any support you are able to provide, whether through a donation, sharing this fundraiser, or keeping Joe and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
