Joe has become part of our family. He is thoughtful, kind, hard-working, cares for others, and is a joy to be around. Over the last 18 months our family has seen his resilience and perseverance as he has come on hard times. He's been in 3 car accidents this past year and a half, none of which were his fault and each accident totaled his car leaving him in debt. The last accident was from an uninsured motorist, which resulted in a rough battle with the insurance company. He finally got on his feet, got a good car and was just getting settled, then on New Years Eve his new car was stolen. He's devastated and we are devastated with him. He works two jobs and barely has time and energy to give toward taking care of himself, and he does not have outside sources of financial support. We want to support him and help him get back on his feet, showing kindness and care for a dear young man who is struggling.
