Joe Crawford is a figure at the Orlando Executive Airport, known by many as more than just a teacher and pilot—he is a cherished friend. Flying is his life, and without it, he feels a loss of purpose. It’s the only thing he’s ever known, and now, more than ever, Joe needs us to help keep his days upbeat and give him a sense of purpose. His connection to the close-knit aviation community has always given him joy and meaning. Recently, Joe suffered a devastating stroke that has taken away his ability to fly, and with it, the career and passion that defined him. To make matters even more difficult, Joe has also been diagnosed with cancer, and doctors estimate he may have only 3 to 6 months left. With his income now severely limited, Joe is facing urgent financial challenges, including rent that is due in just a few days.
