Help My Son, Joe Carr and Christen Zurovec, With Joe's Fight Against Stage 4 Colon Cancer.

Joe will turn 38 years old on August 30th. I just have no words to describe the phone call I received on Father's Day weekend of 2023. Joe and Christen made the decision to immediately fight back against the stage 4 colon cancer, head on. Almost 3 years later they are still very much in the fight. MD Anderson and Texas Oncology are doing everything they can to give Joe and Christen the best shot at a victory! Weekly trips to Houston for a clinical trial are showing a positive turn. The medical expenses Joe and Christen endure, even with insurance, are running from $600 to $1,000 each week. Results have been positive and moving in the right direction!!!. Joe and Christen are doing all that they can themselves, and then some. All while taking time away from work to battle this disease.

I am turning to all of you to ask if you would join with us and help with these ongoing medical bills by raising our target goal of $50,000.

The money donated will be used to reduce and pay for these bills, which would then lift that stress and concern from Joe and Christen's already full plates.

Joe is not just a patient, he is a husband, a son, a brother, and a friend. Joe and Christen are now ambassadors for the Fight Colorectal Cancer organization. We joined Joe and Christen in Washington D.C. in March to advocate for funding and support to help many others fighting this disease.
