Support Joe and Ella

My name is Rebecka, and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my little brother, Joe, and my 4 year old niece, Ella. Joe and Ella were involved in a horrific car accident on September 10th while driving to kid’s birthday party. They were hit head on by an SUV who swerved into their lane to avoid hitting a cat. Both Joe and Ella were pinned in the vehicle until the fire department arrived. Ella was taken to UC Davis where she was treated for her two broken collar bones and a displaced disk. Joe, taken to Mercy San Juan, sustained internal damage around his intestine, a broken nose, and other injuries. Ella was released after a few days, but Joe underwent surgery for the internal damage and spent over a week in the hospital. We are happy to say that he is finally resting safe at home. 

While we are so grateful that they will make full recoveries, Joe specifically has a long and painful road to recovery ahead of him. Joe is the provider for his family, and has one of the biggest hearts I’ve ever known. He’s a hard worker and would do absolutely anything in the world to make sure that his daughter is happy and cared for. 

 

Right now, what Joe needs most is peace of mind as he begins his journey to healing and recovery. Joe is facing mounting medical bills, is currently without a car as his was totaled in the accident, and he will not be able to return to work for 6 weeks. He would never ask anyone help, which is why I am doing it for him. Through this GoFundMe, I am hoping to show my little brother just how much he is loved.
