Joe Bohrer is a 67-year-old family friend who has always shown resilience in the face of hardship. Recently, Joe experienced a devastating house fire that took away all of his possessions. Living on a limited fixed income, this loss has left him in an incredibly difficult position, with nowhere to turn for the basics we often take for granted.

This isn’t the first time Joe has faced adversity. In 1995, he survived a traumatic propane explosion and suffered third-degree burns. Despite the pain and challenges, Joe’s strength and determination helped him recover and move forward. Thankfully, he was not injured in this recent fire, but the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming.

We are reaching out to our community to help Joe rebuild his life. The funds raised will go directly toward helping him secure transportation, find a safe place to live, and replace essential items like furniture, dishes, and clothing.
